SUMMARY
This long-awaited documentary about Contact Improvisation was shot at CI36, a celebration of Contact’s 36th birthday in 2008 which brought together nearly 300 CI practitioners from around the world. The documentary (Disc 1) offers views of dancing in jams, classes, performances, and everywhere in between. Disc 2 offers 3 hours of highlights from 22 interviews Wagoner conducted at the event. Dancers reflect on the past, present, and future of Contact—what they love and what troubles them.
